Junk Jewelry

| Even with more than my share of diamonds and pearls, somehow the collection I have of what I term "junk jewelry" has more appeal to it. I wear little of it, but on the other hand, it makes a great collection. The above pieces are rather new, being less than 20 years old, but I have others that are from the 50s and 60s. I have some Sarah Coventry pieces that was targeted for the average woman with a middle-income budget to be able to look her finest. I have placed a few of these on eBay - in fact these very pieces because they have never been worn, and are like new. They did not sell. Not to worry. They are under-appreciated, in my view. I was always fascinated with the "costume jewelry" of the 50s. |
