I always have been a musical person, from childhood and learning the piano, to high school learning the clarinet. After marriage I got a Hammond Organ Cougar, and from there graduated to a Hammond T-500, then to an A-100 (I've had two), which I presently own. The picture above shows the exact same model which I have, and it is like brand-new! Even though this Hammond is around 46 years old. My other A-100 got a short in the keyboard, and had to be dismantled for parts and they went into a Hammond B-1 for repairs. It was a good fate, I believe. My present A-100 is in great shape, and we just spent $600 to have it renovated, and adjusted to play a Leslie speaker with it. |
